No. Azuga automatically credits your fuel tax back to you. We are able to calculate how much fuel your vehicle burns and credit your digital Azuga Wallet with the fuel tax you've already paid. You receive credit up to a zero-dollar balance and pay only the per-mile tax minus the total paid gas tax.
Nothing. The Azuga Insight mobile app and services are free. Your only cost is your road usage charge minus any fuel tax credits applied (up to a zero dollar balance). Azuga Insight services are free to OReGO participants as long as they are in the program.
No. In accordance with Oregon law and Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) policy, all program-related data remains confidential and is destroyed on a set schedule. The 2017 survey of test volunteers shows that education and experience with road usage charges is changing public perception.
Azuga Insight is very cool technology. It actually helped identify a low battery voltage issue that was indicating we needed to get a new battery before my wife’s car broke down.

I love Azuga Insight for several reasons: 1. I like getting the notices if my car has a problem (i.e. battery)—in fact, it was because of this warning that I fixed a battery problem before it became an issue; 2. You don’t have to go to the DEQ to renew tags; 3. I get notified if my car leaves the neighborhood—I have a young driver in the house; 4. I can see online how my household members drive (e.g. are they accelerating too much, panic braking, etc.)

I strongly believe in the OReGO program and have had great results with Azuga products.

People are driving more fuel-efficient vehicles and consuming less fuel, thereby paying less fuel tax, yet their vehicles still put as much wear on the roads as other vehicles.
When everyone does their part, the load is lighter.
Electric vehicles and hybrids save at the DMV.
